The first ten year old weblog

Today is the tenth birthday of Scripting News, Dave Winer’s weblog. This is the first weblog to reach this venerable age, but, thanks to Dave, it won’t be the last.

Thanks Dave

Dave’s effort has certainly been not only inspirational but helpful practically for me—it’s in a large way thanks to him that my blogging will make it to ten. Unlike me, Dave has posted nearly every day for his run so far. In fact, when he stopped blogging in 2002, everyone knew something was wrong. I’m glad that Dave made it past that time and I hope he’s with us for many years to come.

Dave, this post is a small token of thanks, but please consider my entire weblog (like those of many others) an extended form of thanks to you!

Until it stops being fun, keep digging Dave! Namaste!
