New Housemate

Sunday the 25th of June 2006

Settlement for the new house is on August 31st. That gives me and Penny exactly four months to get the house ready for the day our baby is meant to arrive. Yes, as of tomorrow, we are officially 13 weeks pregnant!

Here’s a picture of the (sex so far unknown) foetus from the ultrasound on Friday:

Baby Ultrasound

It’s 6.6cm long from head to bum. Heart rate 169bpm (normal for one so small—like a hummingbird). Brain and spine look great. Perfect little feet. Gordon nose, Golding chin. And it’s squirming, kicking, touching its toes, drinking…

    Babe, I think we were 13 weeks on Sunday, the day of your post, because Friday was 12 weeks and 5 days. My oops.
