My friend Rob Clayton and his wife and his sisters and a good deal of the other people that orbit with him have put a lot of time, effort, and broken C++ nails into bringing the world Deep Wars, a Galaga-style arcade game for the PC. It’s got pretty graphics, a rockin’ soundtrack, and oodles of gameplay. I was one of the beta testers, my need to beat the baddies winning out against my RSI. So: download it, play it, buy the full version if you value old skool values. And if you know any software publishers, give Rob or myself a buzz.
Meanwhile, my friend Tim had a bit of trouble with his Peugot.
My review of Tori’s latest has found its way onto Records Ad Nauseum, where I hope to post some more reviews in the near future. Meanwhile, I’ve written a breathless review of October’s Doctor Who novel, Grimm Reality, by Simon Bucher-Jones and Kelly Hale. This book I’m sure will stay with me and pop up in intersting ways. At last, another DW book that I can honestly recommend to the Not We.
